Eric Armstrong是EA Sports的动画总监，EA Sports是EA品牌下面最大的游戏开发商。Eric是一个动画领域和视效行业内经验丰富的动画师、总监、导演，他凭借着超过17年的行业经验，于2005年投身于艺电的游戏产业。他目前跟“次世代”项目合作，致力于“人类动作仿真”的研究。

Eric毕业于加拿大Sheridan学院动画专业，他在80年代末期开始制作动画系列剧，有《Ewoks》、《Care Bears》和《My Pet Monster》。然后他返回加拿大Sheridan学院学习电脑动画。在毕业之后在加拿大的几家动画公司就职。

1990年，Eric加入制作巨头工业光魔（LIM）。经过5年的时间，在电影《侏罗纪公园》、《勇敢者的游戏》、《鬼马小精灵》中，Eric从动画师、动画总监做到动画导演。

然后在1996年，Eric加入Sony Pictures Imageworks，担任动画导演一职。在索尼超过8年的时间里，Eric成立了一个动画部门，并同时完成了无数的动画长片包括《精灵鼠小弟1& 2》、《空心人》和《哈利波特》等等。

Eric Armstrong is the Senior Animation Director for EA SPORTS branded titles at Electronic Arts’ largest game development studio, EA Canada. A veteran animator, supervisor and director in the animation and visual effects industries, Eric brought his 17+ year career to the videogame industry by joining EA in 2005. In his current role he works with various Next Generation Titles striving for that elusive goal – believable human motion.

Eric is a graduate of the cell animation program ofSheridanCollege; he began his career in the late 80’s working on animated TV series such as Ewoks, Care Bears and My Pet Monster. He then returned toSheridanto study Computer Animation. Upon graduating Eric worked for several small computer animation facilities inCanadaand theUSanimating commercials and broadcast interstitials.

In 1990 Eric relocated toCaliforniato work for Industrial Light & Magic. Over the next five years Eric worked as an animator, animation supervisor and eventually animation director on such films asJurassicPark, Jumanji andCasper.

Then in 1996 Eric accepted the position of animation director with Sony Pictures Imageworks. Over an eight year period Eric helped to build an animation department while working on numerous feature films including Stuart Little 1 & 2, Hollowman and Harry Potter.

In 2002 Eric was tapped by Imageworks to direct the computer animated short The ChubbsChubbs for which he received an Academy Award.

From 2003 to 2004 Eric directed the development of several animated features for DreamWorks Feature Animation before joining EA.
